soaked in spiced wine or spiced rum

raisin/cranberry juice
juice reserved from soaking the raisins and cranberries

baking soda
dissolved into the raisin/cranberry juice

shredded coconut sweetened
grated

walnuts
chopped
Instructions
Cream sugar and shortening. Add in Large eggs and beat well.
1 ½ cup brown sugar,
1 cup vegetable shortening,
3 large eggs
Add in flour, salt, and soda dissolved in raisin/cranberry juice. Mix well.
3 ½ cup all-purpose flour,
1 tsp salt,
½ cup raisin/cranberry juice,
1 tsp baking soda
Stir in raisins, cranberries, walnuts, and coconut.
6 oz dried cranberries,
1 cup shredded coconut sweetened,
1 ½ cup walnuts,
6 oz raisins
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min.
